- Must be an existing home, not new construction.
Requirements for evaporative coolers - 500-1,999 CFM
- Minimum of 500 CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute).
- Available for purchase through participating retailers.
Requirements for evaporative cooler 2,000-3,499 CFM:
- 2,000-3,499 CFM (Cubic Foot per Minute).
- Available for purchase through participating retailers.
- Portable models do not qualify at this time.
Requirements for evaporative cooler 3,500 CFM or higher:
- Minimum 3,500 CFM or higher.
- Available for purchase through participating retailers.
- Portable equipment does not qualify.
Additional program rules:
- Rebate not to exceed 50% of the purchase price.

Customer eligibility
Residential electric customers residing in the state of Wyoming who purchase their electricity from Rocky Mountain Power on rate schedules 2 or 18 qualify. Landlords who own rental properties served by the company in the state of Wyoming where the tenant is billed on rate schedules 2 or 18 also qualify for this program.
